“On Monday, John was evaluated by Dr. Brian P. Monahan, the Attending Physician of the United States Congress. Yesterday, Dr. Monahan recommended inpatient care at Walter Reed. John agreed, and he is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis.”

Gisele Fetterman, Fetterman’s spouse, tweeted the news. “after what he’s been through in the past year, there’s probably no one who wanted to talk about his own health less than John. I’m so proud of him for asking for help and getting the care he needs.”

Recent news There has been much speculation about Fetterman’s health, indicating that he is suffering from complications from the stroke he suffered last May. Since then, Fetterman has had trouble hearing and understanding the voices of others.

Fetterman, who felt lightheaded at the Democratic retreat, was admitted to hospital on Wednesday. He was also being checked for seizures. He was being cared for at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC.

Fetterman’s chief staff Adam Jentleson said that “Before the stroke, he was the kind of person who loved the give-and-take with reporters. The challenge is to be able to get back to that place, given the current limitations,” He said.

Jentleson claimed Fetterman was “forced” To be able to return to the campaign trail following a stroke, you will need to make a full recovery.

“What you’re supposed to do to recover from this is do as little as possible,” The head staffer stated. According to him, Fetterman however “was forced to do as much as possible — he had to get back to the campaign trail.”

“It’s hard to claw that back,” Jentleson also added.

Fetterman Attempts to downplay The severity of his past health issues. In an interview with CBS News, the former mayor spoke out about his health and physical condition. The interview was aired less than a week before midterm elections. Fetterman struggled to make his point and stumbled over words.

“I would say we have shown more and shared more kinds of medical evaluation,” Fetterman replied “more than virtually anyone unless you’re running for the president.”

“I’ve been campaigning all across Pennsylvania,” He said, “been in front of thousands and thousands of people, and we’ve been trying to be very very transparent.”

“I’m sitting within a chair with you right now to have this conversation,” He told Costa: “and really just address the fact that I’m absolutely fit to serve.”

Joe Rogan, comedian and podcaster, also attacked Fetterman’s physical health. He said that Fetterman was not as healthy as he used to be. “clearly compromised” During his debate against Republican candidate Mehmet Oz.

“Why did they think they could put him out there on a huge stage like that?” Rogan responded, “This is not against the guy. I don’t know anything about this guy. I really don’t. I just know he’s the Democratic candidate. But what you’re seeing is a guy that has a problem with his brain. That guy should be rehabilitating. He shouldn’t be forced into a high-stress job in a public display… It’s humiliating.”
