Sinema: Biden Ignoring Border Reality Obvious to All.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema: Border Isn’t Secure

During Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) made a bold statement that the border isn’t secure. She stated that it’s obvious to “Anyone with eyes” and that the Biden administration saying that it is, is offensive to people in border states because it’s “just factually not true.”

After viewing a clip of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Sinema went on to say, “So, obviously, the border is not secure. Anyone with eyes can see that. And anyone who lives in a border state like I do, born and raised in Arizona, actually takes offense at comments like that, because they’re just factually not true.”

Border Communities in Arizona are Suffering

Sinema went on to explain that border communities in her state are already suffering, and that’s before the end of Title 42. She recently held a hearing in their Border Subcommittee and brought a Republican mayor and a Democratic mayor both representing small border towns from Arizona. They were asked what it’s like every day in their town, and the response was alarming.

  • High-speed chases are going on through the city of Sierra Vista right now with young teens driving cars.
  • Sometimes, these teens are being killed or causing the death of others while transporting drugs and other migrants through these communities.
  • It is not secure. It is not safe.

Sinema’s statement is a wake-up call to the Biden administration to take action and address the issue at hand. It’s time to prioritize the safety and security of our border communities.
