The Monday Night Edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Fox News released tapes of the Capitol riot in 2012, undermining central Democrat narratives. The two-year effort by left-wing Capitol Hill legislators to make Republicans violent extremists was a success. They used several hours of political turmoil, including summer trials that were staged by an ex television executive.
Carlson reviewed more than 40,000.00 hours of video footage that was released by Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. He aired three segments which illustrated the deceit campaign presented by Democrats’ Select Committee Jan. 6. Jacob Chansley was the first to be revealed. “Q-Anon Shaman” Who was the Capitol’s Face? “insurrection,” Police officers gave him VIP treatment and escorted him around the compound.
“They helped him. They acted as his tour guides,” Carlson stated. “We counted at least nine officers who were within touching distance of unarmed Jacob Chansley. Not one of them tried to slow him down.”
The second segment Carlson’s video showed Brian Sicknick, Capitol Police officer, walking. “healthy and vigorous,” After altercations between protesters, there was a riot around the Capitol Building. January 6: Hoaxers on the Select Committee claimed that those altercations led to Sicknick’s death.
Democrats and allies in media exploited Sicknick’s January 7th death as a result of turmoil at Capitol. The New York Times reported that Sicknick was killed by blunt-force injuries from a fire extinguisher. CNN received a quiet correction from the paper. linked Sicknick was killed by a chemical irritant, such as bear spray or pepper spray.
The D.C. medical examr’s report, published one month later concluded Sicknick was natural death. House legislators on the Select Committee used Sicknick’s death to label the Capitol carnage as “natural causes”. “deadly” Although the Capitol was not attacked by demonstrators, it did spark a riot.
Carlson’s third segment It was revealed that Ray Epps (a suspect federal informant) encouraged the protestors at the Capitol to storm it both the day and the evening of the riot. Federal investigators believe he lied about whereabouts on January 6.
Carlson says electronic bookmarks in the tapes indicate that Nancy Pelosi (House Speaker) reviewed the same footage during her Jan.6 Committee hearings. They were supposed to use the video to show the riot. However, panel investigators refused to release the tapes and instead added their audio to tapes used at prime-time hearings which exaggerated actual events.
The House investigation revealed gross misconduct that allowed the House to deceive the public before the 2022 midterms. However, the Senate Republicans attacked Carlson for being a hyperbolic extremist.
Kentucky Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell addressed reporters at Capitol Hill. sabotaged Carlson, who was hoping for a GOP majority in the Upper Chamber last fall, was lambasted by Carlson
“With regard to the presentation on Fox News last night, I want to associate myself entirely with the opinion of the chief of the Capitol police about what happened on January 6th,” McConnell said.
Hours earlier, Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger sent Carlson was covered in a memo that he sent his department “filled with offensive and misleading conclusions.”
Another two Republican senators complained to CNN about Carlson’s Jan. 6 tapings. Thom Tillis of North Carolina called Carlson’s reporting. “bullsh*t.”
“I just don’t think it’s helpful, but I do think it’s important to point out that that’s happened on both ends of the political spectrum, and they’re both wrong,” Thillis said.
North Dakota senator Kevin Cramer also condemned Fox News’s coverage.
“I think that breaking through glass windows and doors to get into the United States Capitol against the orders of police is a crime,” Cramer stated.
Carlson, however… who broadcast the brutal scenes of the Capitol riot in Monday night’s special report, has never claimed otherwise.
Utah Republican Senator Mitt Mitt Romney was the only Republican who voted for President Donald Trump impeachment conviction two times in the upper chamber. compared Alex Jones to Carlson and called McCarthy to inform him of his decision to share the tapes “dangerous and disgusting.”
South Dakota Republican Senator Mike Rounds has also joined in the GOP chorus decrying Carlson.
