Senate Votes to End COVID National Emergency, Sending Bill to Biden’s Desk
On March 29, the Senate voted 68 to finish the COVID-19 federal emergency earlier than expected.
Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona introduced the legislation, which was approved by the House on February 1; now it is up to President Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer( D-N) to sign it. Y. ) Democrats were informed, according to press stories.
The COVID federal emergency was supposed to be ended by the White House on May 11 and President Donald Trump signed it on March 13, 2020. The federal emergency will be overturned by this proposal, though, a month earlier than expected.

Sen. Jackie Rosen( D-Nev.) declared,” We’re going to vote to put an end to the COVID evacuation.”
Sen. Tim Kaine( D-VA ), however, informed Axios that he would vote against the resolution.
He said,” They have given us a plan.” People are taking good action to do what they may before May 11 when you tell everyone and the world,” Okay, this is going to start May 11, and here why.”
