Service member found dead in Pentagon parking lot

Pentagon officers approached the vehicle and found that the soldier inside was apparently dead. This was confirmed later by Arlington County Emergency Medical Services.
The cause of death remains a mystery. Officials at DOD say that an investigation is ongoing. The service member was not identified publicly by the department.
