Authorities responded to a drive-by shooting outside of a Southern California amusement park. Reports on Friday stated the shooting happened outside Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park about 25 miles south of Los Angeles.
Police reported one person was wounded in the shooting, while three others were hospitalized with unknown injuries. Witnesses said gunfire could be heard from inside the park, which sent people running towards exits and jumping over fences to escape.

“We were just at the ferris wheel and enjoying it with the family….we just hear a pop. We see two gentlemen run across the street and I guess that is where it actually happened,” a visitor explained. “…Like the movies, everyone was running.”
One witness explained his friend was shot at by a man who was firing at people as they left the park. Amusement park staff assisted the victims until officials arrived on the scene to transport them to a local hospital.
A statement by the park said the incident is currently under investigation.
