Israeli-German citizen Shani Louk, who had been one of the hundreds of individuals kidnapped by Hamas from a music festival in Israel, has been discovered dead after the terrorists “chopped off her head.”
On Monday, the 22-year-old’s death was confirmed by Israel President Isaac Herzog.
IDF officials and ZAKA found out the news of her passing after they tested a bone from the base of a skull that was discovered. After testing, officials learned that the DNA from the bone matched Louk’s. The rest of her body is still missing.
“Only now we got the note that Shani Louk has been confirmed as murdered and dead,” Herzog said.
“They found her skull, which means these barbaric, sadistic animals, moles, simply chopped off her head when they were attacking and torturing and killing Israelis. It’s a huge tragedy,” he continued. “This means that these barbaric, sadistic animals simply chopped off her head as they attacked, tortured and killed Israelis. It is a great tragedy and I extend my deepest condolences to her family. I send a lot of condolences to the bereaved family. She was a beautiful [22-year-old] who went to a music festival, nature festival in Negev, right near the border.”
Louk was kidnapped from the Nova Music Festival on October 7th.
Prior to the horrors perpetrated by the Islamic terrorist organization, Hamas, the Israeli-German citizen was filmed dancing and enjoying the festival surrounded by friends.
Despite initially believing reports that her daughter was kidnapped and survived the incident, her mother, Ricarda Louk, now thinks that her daughter was killed on the same day.
“At least she didn’t suffer,” her mother told German broadcaster RTL/ntv.
Her sister, Adi Louk, posted a statement to social media announcing her sister’s passing.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of my sister, Shani Nicole Z.L., who was on October 7, 2023, at the party massacre in Re’im,” Adi wrote on Instagram.
Over 260 unsuspecting partygoers were killed at the Nova festival in Israel. Hamas terrorists entered the Negev Desert music festival grounds by air on paragliders and by foot.
