SHOCKING: According To Algorithm, Every Major CNN Figure ‘May Have A Blindspot On The Right,’ And Focus On Left-Leaning Sources
This week, a tool from Ground News was widely shared on Twitter, providing apparent insight into the ideological “blindspot” of users of the social media platform.
“Do you have a news blindspot?” the tool asks, offering the ability to “Analyze the news diet of any account on Twitter.”
The results for CNN figures may, or may not, surprise you.
Brian Stelter
Host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” Stelter claims to act as a check on conservative media. However, according to Ground News’ Blindspotter, 94% of the news Stelter interacts with on Twitter “leans Left.” His top three sources are CNN, The New York Times, and Politico, with his top three news influencers being Oliver Darcy, James Poniewozik, and Sara Fischer.
