Katy Perry is set to travel to space on Monday.

The “Woman’s World” singer will be part of an all-female commercial flight crew for space technology and rocket company Blue Origin. She will be joined by entrepreneur and aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, activist Amanda Nguyen, journalist Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and author and former journalist Lauren Sanchez.

Sanchez is the fiancee of Jeff Bezos, the founder and executive chairman of Amazon and the owner of Blue Origin.

Blue Origin’s mission on Monday is named NS-31, with the acronym standing for New Shepard, a “reusable rocket-capsule combo.” Its namesake is Alan Shepard, the first U.S. astronaut in space, who traveled on a suborbital flight on May 5, 1961. It is the 31st flight for the New Shepard program and its 11th voyage with a human crew, Space.com reported.

NS-31 will accomplish multiple historical feats. It will be the first all-female crew to travel in space since June 16, 1963, when cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova of the U.S.S.R did so. Additionally, Nguyen will be the first Vietnamese woman to travel to space.

The launch window begins at 9:30 a.m. EST, according to reports. The expedition will reportedly last between 10-12 minutes and travel 62 miles above Earth, surpassing the Karman Line, the designated boundary of entering space. The rocket will depart from Blue Origin’s Van Horn, Texas, site at the company’s Launch Site One.

Perry expressed enthusiasm for her journey into space. In anticipation of her space flight, the pop vocalist told the Associated Press that she had always been interested in astronomy.

“I’m really excited about the engineering of it all,” said Perry. “I’m excited to learn more about STEM and just the math about what it takes to accomplish this type of thing.”

A picture of the crew in their flight suits was displayed on Blue Origin’s X account on Sunday.

“The NS-31 crew is certified ‘ready to fly to space’ by CrewMember 7 Sarah Knights,” read the post.
