Despite facing challenges, including receiving threats related to his advocacy, rapaport remains unapologetic about his stance, stating that supporting Israel feels natural to him. he highlighted that these threats do not intimidate him, as he has a history of encountering backlash for his political views. Rapaport’s acting career began in the 1990s, with notable roles in films and TV shows, and he currently hosts the podcast *I Am Rapaport*. He emphasized that he has no regrets about his advocacy, seeing it as a matter of pride and identity.

Michael Rapaport is having difficulty finding work to continue his acting career, and he said his support for Israel is to blame.
The sitcom and movie actor made the revelations during an interview on Jewish World Weekly.
“There’s been, um, how do I say it, there’s been, um, there’s been some issues in terms of getting jobs as an actor,” he said.
Rapaport also acknowledged he previously received threats for his advocacy and public support for the country.
“Have you had a lot of pushback? Do you get threats, and are these something that likes scares you or concerns you?” asked i24NEWS journalist Emily Frances.
“I get threats on social media,” Rapaport replied. “I think if you don’t get threats on social media, you’re not doing social media right.”
However, the actor said he was not too concerned over threats.
“I’ve always gotten threats, whether it was stuff about politics, I’ve always gotten threats on social media,” he added. Those don’t concern me. I’ve had comedy shows protested. That doesn’t concern me.”
He then mentioned the employment challenges he’s faced due to his outspokenness. However, Rapaport explained that he has no regrets for doing so and stated that being supportive of Israel was “very natural.”
“I don’t have the slightest bit of regret,” Rapaport said. “I don’t. There was no choice.”
“‘Well, if you do this, this is going to happen. Or, if you do this, this won’t happen,’” he added. “Being supportive of Jews, being supportive of Israel, being supportive of our people, was not a choice. It was very, and is very natural and organic, to me.”
Rapaport, 55, began his acting career in 1990 with an appearance on the ABC Vietnam War drama China Beach. His first movie role was in the 1992 film Zebrahead. He appeared in numerous films in the 1990s and 2000s, including Higher Learning, The Basketball Diaries, Beautiful Girls, Cop Land, Deep Blue Sea, Hitch, and Live Free or Die, among others. He also had recurring guest appearances in such sitcoms as Friends and My Name Is Earl.
In addition to his acting, Rapaport hosts the I Am Rapaport podcast.
