Small business owner’s viral takedown of affirmative action: ‘No government needed’

A Conservative Comedian’s Epic Takedown of Affirmative Action

In a viral video, comedian Terrence K. Williams shares his powerful perspective on affirmative action, coinciding with the Supreme Court’s recent ruling that deems it unconstitutional in higher education.

WARNING: The following video contains language that some may find offensive.

“I’m black — as you can see, clearly,” Williams boldly declares in the video.

“I’m black and I do not need affirmative action to succeed.”

Williams passionately shares his own journey of starting a small business, rejecting the notion that he required government assistance based on his race.

“It’s insulting to say black people don’t know how to make it, that they can’t succeed on their own.”

“So you think we’re all dumb?” he challenges.

The comedian also opens up about his experiences growing up in the foster care system.

“I don’t need affirmative action, and I don’t need the government to succeed.”

“I don’t need them at all.”

“And I come from the foster care system.”

Williams is the founder of Cousin T’s, a thriving business that specializes in pancake mixes and breakfast foods.

The Supreme Court’s ruling invalidates the admissions practices of Harvard University and the University of North Carolina, setting a precedent that prevents other colleges and universities from considering race in their admissions decisions.

It remains uncertain whether major colleges and universities will be required to revise their admissions policies in light of this ruling.

President Joe Biden suggests that these institutions reconsider their practices and admit students based on their unique experiences, particularly those influenced by their race.
