Smear Group Attacking RFK Led By ‘Trans Activist,’ Funded By Aylo

A leftist advocacy⁣ group called Fight For The future has initiated a campaign against Robert F. Kennedy‍ Jr.’s nomination for the position of Secretary of the department of Health and Human Services. The group⁤ has labeled Kennedy as a ⁣”bigoted conspiracy theorist” and argues that his confirmation would harm healthcare in America, despite his long-standing involvement in public health reform and the popularity of his health⁣ movement, “Make America Healthy Again.” Fight For The Future has created a petition and‍ scorecard to track senators’ ‌responses to Kennedy’s nomination, backed by significant donations from tech companies associated with left-wing causes.

Kennedy’s confirmation hearing ‍highlighted resistance from lawmakers with links to ‌pharmaceutical interests, ⁢who have previously⁤ received ample funding from ‍drug ‌companies. During the hearing, Kennedy expressed his intention not to accept any fees while serving⁢ in the position ⁢but was less definitive ⁤about pursuing lawsuits against pharmaceutical companies afterward. ⁢The group’s tactics are reminiscent‌ of past campaigns against Supreme⁢ Court nominations, suggesting ⁢a concerted effort to influence ⁣the outcome of Kennedy’s confirmation process.

A shadowy, leftist group has targeted Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Fight For The Future, a tech advocacy group with leftist leadership, launched a campaign on Jan. 28 to sink the confirmation of Kennedy, whom it smeared as a “bigoted conspiracy theorist” — despite the group’s adherence to wild theories that men can be women, and that President Donald Trump is a “wannabe fascist.” The organization published a petition to pressure senators to keep Kennedy out of office, and a scorecard tracking how lawmakers plan to vote on the nomination.

Kennedy has been a long-time advocate of reforming public health since the 1990s, and he has become the figurehead of the Make America Healthy Again movement. But Fight For The Future claims he will “destroy[] healthcare,” even though America currently spends the most money on healthcare compared to other countries and has a vastly unhealthy population to show for it. Recent polling data also shows the MAHA movement is popular among Americans.

Fight For The Future opposed the “Kids Online Safety Act,” which would have required online platforms to take “reasonable measures” to protect minors from “sexual exploitation and abuse.” Aylo — the parent company of PornHub which admitted to profiting from sex trafficking — gave “$50,000 or more” to the Fight For The Future, according to the group’s website.

DuckDuckGo and Yelp are also listed as Fight For the Future “supporters” who have donated “$50,000 or more.” Pinterest gave “$25,000 or more,” and Proton — the parent company of encrypted email service Proton Mail — gave “$10,000 or more.”

Fight For The Future has clear and open ties to left-wing activism. Its staff and leadership have backgrounds in “combating abortion surveillance,” “LGBTQ+ organizing,” “building intersectional movements,” Planned Parenthood, and “the fat justice community.”

The group’s Executive Director Sarah Roth-Gaudette has a background in leading “voter registration and get-out-the-vote campaigns” as well as “neighbor-to-neighbor canvassing” for the “progressive” PAC MoveOn.org. The group’s Director Evan Greer — a “queer trans activist” — advises the “Social Media Safety Index” of LGBT group GLAAD.

Fight For The Future boasted that last year, it “stood up against anti-trans bigotry” when Greer disrupted a panel at a tech summit to protest Republican Rep. Nancy Mace, who was speaking at the event. The group also bemoaned Trump’s November victory.

“The outcome of this year’s election in the US was devastating for all of us who care about human rights. We are dismayed, furious, grieving,” the group wrote online, adding that “we still know where we’re going, and we’ll be louder and more audacious than ever.”

This year, the group plans to “hit the ground running.” One of its goals is to “build cross-movement campaigns that unequivocally support LGBTQ+, immigrant and other vulnerable communities.”

The group has a 501(c)4 nonprofit, Fight For The Future, and a 501(c)3 nonprofit, Fight For The Future Education Fund. The former has received “support” from the Heising-Simons Foundation, which, according to InfluenceWatch, is headed by “major” Democrat donors. The latter has “received support” from Democracy Fund, which is “solely funded” by eBay founder and Democrat megadonor Pierre Omidyar. Fight For The Future also lists the Ford Foundation and the MacArthur Foundation among its 501(c)3 “supporters.” According to InfluenceWatch, all three groups have shuttled loads of money to leftist causes.

Fight For The Future’s anti-Kennedy tactics recall those of Demand Justice, which, according to InfluenceWatch, is a project of the leftist dark money network Arabella Advisors. Demand Justice “is most notable for its activities opposing the confirmations of Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett” in 2018 and 2020 respectively and for “proposing ‘court packing,’ or adding seats to be filled by Demand Justice’s political allies to the Supreme Court,” according to InfluenceWatch.

Senators backed by Big Pharma grilled Kennedy during his confirmation hearing on Jan. 29. As The Federalist previously reported, lawmakers on the Senate Finance Committee have taken close to “$7 million from drug companies between 2019 to 2024.”

Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren “seemingly flipped the script of her usual anti-corporation playbook,” The Federalist’s Tristan Justice noted on Wednesday, “by asking Kennedy not to sue drug manufacturers.”

“Kennedy said he would not take any fees while serving as HHS secretary,” Justice wrote, “but refused to say he would refrain from suing pharmaceutical corporations following his tenure.”
