So Perfect. Pay Bernie Sanders $95 To Hear Him Bash Capitalism.
“Never trust a socialist with a summer house.” — Colin Quinn

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermontistan), is the best-known politician on the planet. You can do it if you lack a sense or conscience.
Next week, Sanders will appear at a hip venue in Washington, D.C., for an event titled “It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism.” He will then hype his new book. “It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism.”
Here’s the best part. The top-tier tickets — sold through Ticketmaster, the scourge of the universe — will cost you $95. But they won’t. Ticketmaster adds a $16.45 “service fee” Even online, you can still order your ticket.
The Anthem can hold approximately 2,500 people when it is set up for events like this. Prices range from $35 to $95, with most tickets at $75. Let’s suppose he sells half of the tickets for $75. That would bring in $93,750. A millionaire capitalism is worth nearly $100,000
Another great deal: If you buy tickets priced above $55, you will receive a copy of his book for free. “It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism.”
So perfect. Sanders will give the richest Americans a book for free. You can’t afford to buy the highest-tier tickets. There’s no need to worry.
Bernie doesn’t get the irony. As a Democratic socialist, it oughta’ be exactly the opposite — pay $35, get a free book; pay $95, well, you can afford that so you can clearly afford to buy the book (“It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism,” Available now from Penguin Get it for $28
In a blurb, the publishing company states that the book is “a progressive takedown of the uber-capitalist status quo that has enriched millionaires and billionaires at the expense of the working class, and a blueprint for what transformational change would actually look like.”
Sanders has been sucking the government teat his entire life. He was elected mayor of Burlington in 1982 and served in Congress for many decades. His latest scam was to run for president. That way, you collect hundreds of millions of dollars — mostly from the people Sanders rails against — and you write off nearly everything as a “campaign expense.”
Along the way, Sanders got super rich — even though a senator makes only $174,000 a year (which, incidentally, puts him in the top 4% of U.S. earners). Bashing capitalism pays: Sanders received a $900,000.00 advance for some books he had just published and, in 2016, he earned more than $1,000,000 (not bad for an socialist).).
On the campaign trail, Sanders talks about taxing the rich as he pushes for free everything for everybody — free health care, free college tuition, even free money in the form of universal basic income, in which the government collects taxpayer money and redistributes it.
He hasn’t redistributed however His money. Vermont magazine Seven Days reported in 2016 that Sanders and his wife bought a four-bedroom house on the shore of Lake Champlain in Vermont — with 500 feet of lake frontage — for about $600,000. Sanders has at least three houses, one in Burlington, Vermont, the other on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
Then it is just too perfect that Sanders’ event is being hosted by Ticketmaster. That’s one of the most terrible aspects about capitalism. The ticket giant controls almost the entire entertainment and sporting event market.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), another Democratic socialist, has railed against Ticketmaster. In one rare instance, she is correct.
“One of the things we’ve been increasingly seeing,” AOC declared November “is that these price increases because of inflation and abuse of market power are due to market consolidation. It’s gotten so bad that we’re really seeing it affect our everyday lives, from how much we’re paying at grocery stores, to not being able to see our favorite artists without paying an arm and a leg.”
Sanders has the answer: “Tickets are non-transferable until 24 hours prior to the show time,” Ticketmaster says. “Any tickets suspected of being purchased for the sole purpose of reselling can be cancelled at the discretion of The Anthem/Ticketmaster, and buyers may be denied future ticket purchases for I.M.P. shows.”
Capitalists, take that!
