However, not everyone was supportive of this decision. Critics argued that the military should focus solely on defending the country and not become a platform for social issues.

The report emphasized that the military’s primary purpose is to defend the nation and should not be used as a platform for social experiments. It also raised concerns about the prioritization of diversity over competence and the impact of lengthy recovery periods for sex reassignment procedures.
