A devastating wildfire has ravaged southeast Los Angeles, driven by powerful Santa Ana winds.

The fire, ​which has burned over 2,000 acres, remains uncontained as of‍ Tuesday‍ morning, according to local fire⁤ officials. The National ‍Weather Service has issued a warning of “rapid fire growth” ‌due to strong winds​ in the Los Angeles Area.

Jeff LaRusso, a fire spokesman,‍ stated that nearly 1,300 ⁣homes and 4,000 people have‌ been placed ⁤under evacuation orders.

Furthermore, an additional evacuation order has been issued⁤ for areas north of the San Diego ⁣county⁢ line.
