Stacey Abrams Prepared to Lose Another Election

The Stacey Abrams Campaign is in a lot debt reporting over $1.4 million after a 2022 cycle that raised more then $113 million. AL Media paid Abrams over $1.4 million.54 million are enough to produce ads, and radio airtimeAxios reports.

Abrams stated that she is adamant about her debts and two consecutive losses to Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia. “will likely run again.”

So what’s next? Are you gonna run again? Can we look forward to it and feel renewed?” she was asked by Drew Barrymore on her show, to which Abrams responded, “I’m likely to run again.”

“Well, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. And if it doesn’t work, you try again. The problem is: What have you learned? What did you discover about yourself? What did you learn about your opponent and making sure you’re always remembering why you’re doing it,” Abrams told the audience.

“While I am part of my job, yes, I do run for office, but my first responsibility, and my only, is to ensure that everyone who wishes to vote is eligible. While I would love for you to vote for my candidate, protecting democracy is more than a person. It’s about the ideal. Our democracy is this collective hallucination we have where we say we’re going to work together to help each other and if anyone blinks and comes out of it like the Matrix, it starts to fall apart. That’s why it’s so vital that regardless of who you vote for, your voice matters because your silence is also permission,” Abrams said.

She added, “We have to remember the reason that voting was denied to so many for so long, women, people of color, young people, non-property owners, every time we advance access to the vote, we’re advancing access to society.”
