Starbucks CEO Agrees to Testify Before Committee Led by Bernie Sanders
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), announced March 7, that Howard Schultz, Starbucks CEO, has agreed before his Senate panel.
Sanders, the Chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP), announced that Schultz would be appearing before the Committee on March 29.
“I’m happy to announce that Howard Schultz, the CEO and founder of Starbucks, has finally agreed to testify before the Senate HELP Committee,” According to Sanders, a press release His office.
“The HELP Committee was scheduled to vote tomorrow to subpoena him and I want to thank the members of the Committee who, in a bipartisan way, were prepared to do just that.”

Sanders stated that more than 80 complaints had been filed by the NLRB against Starbucks over violations of federal labor laws.
