Update: $500 guaranteed income stimulus check to be received in nine days.
A New Guaranteed Income Program in El Monte, California
In just nine days, a groundbreaking guaranteed income program will begin in El Monte, California. This program aims to provide recipients with a monthly payment of $500, offering much-needed financial support.
Recipients of this program will receive their payments on a convenient debit card. To collect their card, participants are required to attend an engaging in-person presentation at El Monte city hall. During this presentation, they will learn all about the program and how to effectively utilize the card.
While payments are typically issued on the first of each month, there is a unique twist. If a month starts on a Saturday or Sunday, the monthly payment will be issued on the preceding Friday. This means that although the program officially starts in July, the first payment will be sent on June 30, as confirmed by the city’s Community & Economic Development director in an interview with the Washington Examiner.
A Year of Support
This incredible program will last for a full year, providing recipients with a total of 12 payments. The final payment will be issued on Friday, May 31, 2024, ensuring consistent support throughout the year.
The primary focus of this program is to assist mothers in El Monte, a city that is home to over 100,000 people. By offering financial aid, this initiative aims to alleviate some of the challenges faced by single mothers.
