Stimulus update: Direct payment worth up to $400 to be paid to Massachusetts residents in eight days
Recipients of a food and utility subsidy program in Chelsea, Massachusetts, only need to wait a little more than a week before they receive their next payment from the program.
On April 15, these payments, which range from$ 200 to$ 400, will be made to 738 chosen households. The purchases are intended to help individuals pay their utility and food bills.
Last year, JEFF BEZOS’S NET WORTH decreased by$ 57 billion.
The program webpage states that” recipients of the system may be chosen using a raffle system.” ” City people is reviewing applications and giving preferences to applicants with children under 18, handicapped individuals, soldiers, elderly over 65, households who are ineligible for other types of federal assistance, households with a female-identifying head of household, and families with members with marginalized gender identities ,” according to the statement.
The funds may be loaded onto recipients’ debit cards, which were already given out to beneficiaries in early March, according to a Chelsea neighborhood director to the Washington Examiner. The consumers were selected using a drawing program.
Families had to live in Chelsea and have household incomes that were 30 % below the area median in order to be ready for this course. To be a part of the program, households of one would need to earn less than$ 29, 450, and household of two would require earnings of under$ 33, 650. Each new family resident saw an increase in the amount.
Depending on how many people live in their family, recipients will have a certain amount from this program. One household will receive$ 200, two households will get$ 300, and a family with three people or more gets$ 400.
