Hey there! Exciting news from Stimulus! Over the next 24 years, we’ll be sending direct payments worth $500 to over 300 families. That’s right, you could be one of the lucky recipients! Keep an eye on your inbox for more details.

Are you a California family struggling to make ends meet during the pandemic? The Pathway to Income Equity program may be able to help. Selected candidates receive $500 per month, but there’s a catch – there are 24 days between payments.

Out of 6,450 Sonoma County candidates, only 305 were chosen for the program. To qualify, families had to have a wage no more than 185% above the national poverty level, at least one child under six, and be affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

But there’s good news for families in Minnesota – a proposed House Bill includes one-time payments of up to $1,375.

The Pathway to Income Equity program aims to help families with young children who are struggling with high housing and childcare costs. Sonoma County authorities are conducting research to see how this program can lower poverty and increase financial flexibility for families.

First 5 Sonoma County is working with an external evaluator to conduct research with participants over two years. The final report will be available in early 2025.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve your financial situation. Apply for the Pathway to Income Equity program before the December 2024 deadline. Last year, over 2,000 families were accepted into the program.
