Stormy Daniels regrets accusing Trump, says it was pointless.
Stormy Daniels Regrets Speaking Out About Alleged Affair with Donald Trump
Porn actress Stormy Daniels has expressed regret about opening up about her alleged affair with former President Donald Trump and accused Trump supporters of threatening her.
In an interview with “Good Morning Britain,” Daniels revealed that she spoke her truth about the alleged affair and hush money payments, but “it was just for nothing.” She also stated that she doesn’t believe Trump will be convicted of criminal charges related to the alleged hush money payments made during the 2016 election campaign.
“I just feel like if people don’t want to face facts and see the truth and make a change and let somebody get away with this, then you know what, I’d rather have had the time back with my family,” Daniels said.
Daniels also revealed that she regrets the decision to come forward with the allegation partly because she’s faced threats from Trump’s supporters. The adult film actress claimed that her horse was attacked by Trump supporters who climbed her fence, but she did not offer any details about whether her horse was injured or how it was targeted.
“I’m not frightened of him. He doesn’t scare me at all,” Daniels said of Trump, adding “I’m frightened of his sycophants and his followers.”
Despite the threats, Daniels stated that she would still “absolutely” testify against Trump if called on by the jury. She expressed excitement about the possibility to testify against Trump and hoped he would be jailed if convicted.
“It’s daunting, but I look forward to it,” Daniels said when asked about the grand jury calling her in to testify. “I have nothing to hide. I’m the only one that has been telling the truth, and you can’t shame me anymore.”
Daniels also stated that having the grand jury call her in to testify would legitimize her story and who she is.
