It’s smart and healthy to stretch during the holidays

It is far too easy during the holidays to forget fitness and well-being — including stretching.

However, staying fit and limber No matter what time of year, it is vital.

Patrick Fernandez is a flexologist from StretchLab’s Upper East Side Manhattan location. “Fox & Friends” We will be sharing smart tips and stretching suggestions for the holiday season and beyond on Monday

With the help of qualified exercise coaches, assisted stretching can be provided to its clients.

Stretching can be a great way to help eliminate back pain Other aches and pains, and it is always a good idea to consult a doctor before starting any new exercise program. 

Said Fernandez, “Stretching is very important.” 

He demonstrated a stretch to the lower back, emphasizing it should be held for between 20 and 30 seconds.

These stretches are great for those who spend a lot of time sitting at desks, tables or laptops. 

He claimed that it can be done standing up, with your legs slightly apart.

He demonstrated then a shoulder stretch across his body.

He stated that those who sit for prolonged periods of time are at tables, desks or laptops may benefit greatly from some of these stretches — as well as athletes.

He stated that this stretch should also be held for between 20 and 30 seconds.

Fernandez then turned next to stretches for the neck — demonstrating a tilting of the head slightly, again noting this stretch should be held for 20-30 seconds as well.
