Cocaine discovered in White House library.

There’s a Mysterious White Substance in the White House

There’s something unusual happening in the White House. It seems that an “unknown item” caused a brief evacuation on Sunday night, and initial tests indicate that it could be cocaine.

A firefighter from the District of Columbia reported that they found a yellow bar labeled as cocaine hydrochloride. They instructed a hazmat team to carefully bag it up and remove it from the premises.

President Joe Biden was not at the White House during this incident, as he was at Camp David. The Secret Service has taken the item for further testing and investigation, according to Anthony Guglielmi, the agency’s communications chief.

“On Sunday evening, the White House complex went into a precautionary closure as officers from the Secret Service Uniformed Division investigated an unknown item found inside a work area,” Guglielmi said. “The DC Fire Department was called to evaluate and quickly determined the item to be non-hazardous. The item was sent for further evaluation and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending.”

Although the New York Post reported that the substance was found in the library, the Secret Service clarified that it was actually discovered in a “work area” of the White House’s West Wing. However, they did not provide specific details about the location.

Authorities are now conducting additional tests and working to uncover how the substance made its way into the White House in the first place.

While many details are still unknown, it is worth noting that Hunter Biden, the president’s son, was present at the White House on Friday before heading to Camp David for the holiday weekend. Hunter Biden has openly discussed his past struggles with addiction to crack cocaine in his memoir, Beautiful Things, published in 2015.

The first family returned to Washington on the morning of July 4, with Hunter Biden accompanied by his wife Melissa Cohen and their son Beau Biden.
