The man already accused of killing four women and dumping their bodies on Gilgo Beach in New York has been officially charged with the murder of two more women.
The suspect, who is not being named by The Daily Wire, was charged Thursday with the 2003 death of Jessica Taylor and the 1993 death of Sandra Costilla, ABC New York reported. He had been expected to be charged with only one additional murder.
Part of Taylor’s remains were found near Gilgo Beach and more were found in a wooded area of Manorville, which is further east. Costilla’s murder was thought to be caused by another person, as her remains were found in Southampton, New York.
The dates of these two murders expand the suspect’s alleged killing spree by two decades.
The charges come just weeks after police went back to the suspect’s home in Massapequa to search for additional evidence.
The suspect was arrested on July 13, 2023. He was initially charged with the murders of three women. The suspect has pleaded not guilty.
The remains of 11 people were found in the Gilgo Beach area, but not all have been connected to the current suspect.
Six days after his arrest, his wife filed for divorce. She and other family members reportedly will receive $1 million for participating in a documentary series with Peacock. The project will follow the family’s lives as they cope with the upcoming trial and how it has uprooted their lives.

Police investigating the Gilgo Beach serial killings are operating on the theory that the suspect committed the murders in his own home, a source told CNN.
The theory is based on the fact that the suspect’s family was out of town during the murders, suggesting he may have lured the victims to his home, a source involved in the investigation told the outlet.
If convicted, the suspect faces multiple life sentences without the possibility of parole.
