T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Exit ABC Amid Cheating Scandal
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have reached an agreement with Disney’s ABC News to exit the network after their cheating scandal The tabloids were dominated by the aforementioned. This caused internal drama for almost two months.
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions,” An ABC News spokesperson spoke to Fox News Digital.
ABC News investigated the extent of their extramarital affairs and placed the lovebirds on a halt for eight weeks. They have hosted “GMA3,” the midday extension of ABC’s flagship “Good Morning America,” Since 2020.

TMZ Previous reports Mediation was “extremely contentious,” ABC Honchos charged Robach with violating company policy, keeping alcohol in her dressing room.
ABC News did no immediate respond to a request. Robach, Holmes also failed to respond to multiple requests.
Holmes and Robach shared a clear on-air chemistry, which was exposed when Daily Mail revealed the affair in November. This shocking story also included intimate photos of Robach and Holmes taken over the course of the month, while they were married.
The tabloids covered almost every move of the Disney-owned network in the weeks that followed, keeping scandalous headlines at the forefront.
The public displays of affection between Holmes and the couple were captured on camera. Holmes has been accused of having other affairs with several former ABC News employees. ABC News was also affected by the scandal of cheating.
“I think it’s definitely caused some internal drama and gossip. Everyone’s seen the… headlines. I think people thought it would blow over, but new reports keep coming out,” A current ABC News employee told Fox News Digital.
“Absolutely,” Fox News Digital asked another current ABC News staffer if the scandal of high-profile cheating had affected morale among the ranks-and-file.
“[The workplace affair] makes the network look bad,” A second staffer was also added. “It’s supposed to be a family network.
When the scandal first broke, ABC News initially declared that Holmes and Robach would not be disciplined for their relationship, as both parties were considered consenting adults. They were even allowed to go on air the same week their cheating hit the tabloids, and Holmes and Robach proceeded to downplay it and joke about having a “Great week.”
The following Monday, ABC News president Kim Godwin did an about-face and pulled Holmes and Robach off the air, claiming the “Distraction” had become too significant. They have been off the air since early December, with ABC saying the situation was being evaluated, until mediation began this week.
Robach is married to an ex-wife “Melrose Place” Star Shue has been a star for 12 years but is currently going through a divorce. Shue and Robach co-wrote a 2021 children’s book called, “Better Together,” Based on their blended families.
Holmes is currently going through a divorce. He has been married to Marilee since 2010, and they have one daughter.
Through a divorce attorney, Fiebig recently blasted Holmes’ “lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity” After being photographed kissing Robach in public.
