‘Tastes Very Much Like Malaria And Rust’: Matt Walsh Welcomes Bud Light Boycott Amid Dylan Mulvaney Brand Deal
Matt Walsh, the host of Daily Wire, recently criticized Bud Light’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Mulvaney has millions of followers on TikTok due to his purported gender transition, and Bud Light collaborated with him and featured his image on a beer can to “authentically connect” with its audience. Walsh believes that boycotting Bud Light won’t be that difficult, considering the beer tastes terrible, and called Mulvaney’s abundance of corporate sponsorships, including brands such as Ulta Beauty and Kate Spade, evidence of how society rewards individuals for merely announcing a new gender identity.
Walsh also remarked that associating with Mulvaney doesn’t make “good business sense,” as it drew criticism from the core demographic of these brands, especially women. But, Walsh believes that the ultimate purpose of these partnerships is to offer a sign of allegiance to radical gender theory. Consuming and promoting transgenderism benefits corporations and governments as it serves to show that they are accepting and progressive.
However, Walsh disagrees with this ideology as he views it as a cancerous movement that feeds on constant validation as it propagates its values. Walsh added that no other group needs this level of support because no other group is in a constant state of trying to convince itself of its existence.
Last week, the Biden Administration welcomed “transgender kids and their parents” to discuss sex change operations for minors, while President Joe Biden himself received criticism last year for hosting a discussion with Mulvaney in the White House.
