Tax rebate 2023: Deadline to apply for property tax rebate worth at least $1,000 is today

Colorado rEsidents who would like to purchase a property Tax To be approved, a rebate that could offer up to $1,000 in relief has to be submitted by Friday.

Property Tax/Rent/Heat Rebate: This rebate helps seniors with disabilities and older people who are eligible to pay for property taxes/rent/heat expenses Heating residences. An eligible applicant may be eligible for a $1,044 annual rebate. However, those who apply in the current year could receive a refundable tax credit up to $1,000. Anybody who submits an application by Friday, approves it, and processes it by Friday, will be eligible for a direct deposit or a paper cheque by April 5, while applicants that are not received, approved and processed by that date will receive their payments at a later time.

The rebate will be distributed to the recipients in a series. The first payment will be made to recipients in April. Three additional payments will be made to recipients every three months. The final payment is due in January 2024.
