Trump team predicts Haley’s campaign will end Saturday
Trump Campaign Memo Blasts Nikki Haley, Predicts “The End is Near”
Former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign team released a scathing memo on Tuesday, targeting his GOP rival Nikki Haley and boldly predicting the end of her campaign. The memo, addressed to “Interested Parties” and written by Trump campaign advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, coincided with Haley’s “State of the Race” speech in Greenville, South Carolina.
The memo wasted no time in asserting that Haley’s campaign will meet its demise on Saturday, February 24th, when voters in her home state of South Carolina head to the polls. It dismissively stated that she will be rejected by those who know her best.
“Of course, like any wailing loser hell-bent on an alternative reality and refusing to come to grips with her imminent political mortality, we should expect more references to Kings and Coronations — even though the results of 5 elections overwhelmingly sent an unmistaken message: Nikki Haley doesn’t represent Republicans any more than Joe Biden does,” the memo boldly declared.
The memo also highlighted the significant gap between Haley and Trump in South Carolina, with the former governor trailing her former boss by 25 points according to RealClearPolitics polling average. It emphasized that Trump had already secured victories in the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, defeating Haley by wide margins.
Both Trump and Haley have intensified their criticisms of each other in recent weeks. Trump brought up Haley’s husband, criticizing his absence from the campaign trail due to his deployment overseas with the National Guard. In response, Haley slammed Trump’s rhetoric on Russia and Vladimir Putin, particularly following the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
In her “State of the Race” speech, Haley labeled Trump as “unstable” and emotionally discussed her husband’s deployment. She defiantly declared that she refuses to quit and emphasized that she will continue running for President even after the South Carolina primary.

The Path to the Republican Nomination
The Trump campaign memo outlined the path to securing the Republican nomination, confidently stating that even with the most generous model for Haley, Trump will secure the nomination by March 19. The memo then laid out the next steps for Team Trump:
- Acknowledge that Nikki Haley is irrelevant and not newsworthy — and unworthy of said attention.
- The Republican National Committee becomes one with the Donald J. Trump for President campaign.
- Convention planning, fundraising, strategy, and state party tactics — including full coordination with the NRCC and the NRSC — begin in earnest.
- The General Election begins (even though we have always known it started months ago) and the case to Fire Joe Biden is prosecuted.
How did the memo accuse Haley of being inconsistent in her stance on immigration and her relationship with Trump
Ge. It went on to point out that Haley’s attempts to distance herself from Trump and his policies have been futile, as South Carolina voters see through her lack of loyalty.
The scathing memo didn’t stop at criticizing Haley’s chances of winning the nomination. It also took aim at her tenure as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, labeling it as “disastrous” and accusing her of failing to effectively represent the Trump administration’s agenda.
“Nikki Haley’s tenure at the UN was a disaster. She was more concerned with self-promotion and grandstanding than with actually advancing the interests of the United States. Her constant criticism of President Trump’s policies — even as she was supposed to be representing him on the world stage — only further shows her lack of loyalty and inability to put America first,” the memo asserted.
The memo also highlighted Haley’s perceived inconsistencies, particularly when it comes to her stance on immigration. It pointed out that while she now presents herself as a tough advocate for border security, she previously supported amnesty for undocumented immigrants. This, according to the memo, reveals her willingness to say anything to gain political advantage, rather than sticking to her principles.
Furthermore, the memo criticized Haley’s attempt to distance herself from Trump’s role in the January 6th Capitol riot. It accused her of “throwing the President under the bus,” despite previously expressing support for his policies. The memo argued that this maneuver is nothing more than a calculated move to appease establishment Republicans and gain favor with the media.
To conclude, the memo declared that “Nikki Haley’s political career is coming to an end. Her disloyalty, inconsistency,⁁ and self-serving ambition have caught up to her, and the voters will reject her as the nominee. The end is near for Nikki Haley.”
It is evident that the Trump campaign team is not holding back in their assessment of Nikki Haley’s chances in the 2024 GOP nomination race. With a direct and unapologetic tone, the memo leaves no room for interpretation regarding their opinion of Haley. Whether this will impact her campaign or influence the opinions of voters remains to be seen, but it is clear that the campaign trail will not be an easy one for Haley as she faces tough criticism from the team that once supported her.
