A⁤ Texas Teenager’s Tragic Death After Cross-Country Meet

A Texas teenager’s untimely demise has left a lasting impact on those who⁣ knew him. Angel Hernandez, ⁣a sophomore track star from⁢ Chisholm Trail High School in Fort Worth,‌ collapsed and passed away just moments after completing his best 5K time at a nearby competition. ‌The news of his sudden death has​ shaken ⁤the community.

According to⁣ reports,​ Hernandez initially managed to get back on his feet with the help of his friends, but unfortunately, he collapsed again and never regained consciousness. ‌Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Coach Randall Durant praised Hernandez’s growth as an ‍athlete, progressing from the junior varsity level to becoming one of the best on the varsity team.

Madison Meers, one⁢ of Hernandez’s friends, emphasized his passion for life and⁣ sports.⁢ She expressed the love⁢ he had for everyone he met, regardless of their⁢ past, ⁣and his⁢ ability to brighten their⁣ day. She concluded by saying⁣ that he died ⁢doing what he loved, and they all hope he is at peace.

Hernandez’s obituary⁣ highlighted his infectious spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. A GoFundMe campaign was also launched to support his family with ⁤the expenses, surpassing its goal by raising over $15,000.
