Texas homeowner takes control of man’s gun and kills him in self-defense: Police
A Texas homeowner who shot and killed a man Friday is likely to be let off the hook because he acted in self-defense.
The incident occurred Friday around 12:30 a.m. when a situation between two men changed from “borrowing some money to aggravated robbery gone wrong,” according to Harrison County Sheriff B.J. Fletcher.

Harrison County authorities were alerted to the shooting near Hallsville, and deputies soon responded to the scene, according to a report.
When they arrived, the homeowner greeted them outside his residence and acted in full cooperation, Fletcher said.
Inside the kitchen, the corpse of 40-year-old William Feazell was discovered.
An initial investigation led the deputies to believe Feazell had instigated the altercation.

Fletcher told authorities only one gun, which belonged to Feazell, was involved in the altercation and that he had taken control of it when Feazell tried to rob him.
Fletcher fired several shots during the altercation, and an investigation is ongoing, the report noted.
