A mother of nine who’s concerned about the cost of feeding her family was mocked by members of the liberal media. After appearing on CNN to discuss the impact of rising inflation on her family, Krista Stotler became the target of snide remarks made by New York Magazine’s Jonathan Chait on Thursday.
He took to Twitter to mock her comment about no longer being able to afford 12 gallons of milk a week for her nine children. Chiat wrote, “12 gallons of milk a week may sound like a lot, but they’ve actually had to cut out their milk baths on alternate days.”
The parents said they have seen their grocery bill go up by more than $100 a week, adding they feel like they have not been able to buy healthy food due to the outrageous pricing.
“We have two biological kids and then my wife and I have a big heart for adoption, so we adopted a sibling group of two then three then one,” explained father Larry Stotler. “And then we have a kid living with us right now who’s in a foster situation.”
