The Abortion Pill Now Accounts for More Than Half of U.S. Abortions

The pill regimen could cause serious complications if the woman isn’t aware of an undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy. To make matters worse, women can get a pill prescription online without visiting a doctor. This puts women at risk for serious harm, and even death, as they are no longer able to receive preventive testing or medical oversight from a doctor.
Many women suffer psychological damage after having a chemical abortion. One study Women who had experienced a chemical abortion were tracked and surveyed online. The majority (77%), said that they regret their decision. 38% also reported having issues with anxiety, depression and drug abuse.
