The FBI Played Twitter To Help Biden in 2020 and Democrats Simply Shrug

Ex-Top Twitter Executives Who Censored the Hunter Biden laptop story On Wednesday, the president of the United States admitted that it was wrong to do this ahead of the 2020 election.  

They gave their testimony during a heated hearing organized by the House Oversight Committee.  The story published by the New York Post was accurate and the laptop’s incriminating contents were real.  Joe Biden may have been able to win the election by having it suppressed by social media companies like Twitter.  

The hearing heard a lot of evidence that showed how the FBI and Twitter worked together to kill the story.  The committee subpoenaed James Baker As a key witness.  He once served as general counsel for James Comey’s FBI but then joined Twitter several months before the election. Baker, you’ll recall, was instrumental in pushing the Russia collusion hoax in a lawless effort to drive Donald Trump from office.

He was accompanied by Vijaya GaddeTwitter’s former general counsel, Jeremy, stated that Twitter was a “social media platform”. Post article was based on hacked materials even though Roth emphatically advised that there was no evidence of hacking and Hunter’s damning emails appeared authentic.  Gadde’s pretense of a hack was invented out of thin air to discredit a legitimate story that would clearly damage Biden’s campaign. 

Baker was a master of deflection and deception during the hearing.  When he wasn’t refusing to answer questions by invoking a dubious version of the attorney-client privilege, he gave a fine impression of a deaf, dumb, and blind man. Here’s a sampling of his responses:  “I don’t recall, I don’t understand, I’m having trouble hearing you, I don’t know, I have no answer to that.” You should buy the man a hearing aid, and a white cane.

Roth had already made a sworn statement stating that the FBI was responsible for social media censorship.  Every day, the bureau was sending out requests to end tweets. “shadowban” conservatives, and banish accounts they didn’t like.  This means that the FBI worked closely with Twitter in order to limit the freedom of expression for millions of people.  

Jamie Raskin, a ranking Democrat Representative from Maryland, dismissed everything by claiming Twitter is a private business that can do what it wants without consequence.  This is untrue, even though he is a skilled lawyer.  The Constitution is violated whenever the government uses a private firm as a proxy to censor information.  The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled consistently that a government actor cannot pressure or direct private citizens or entities to do what the First Amendment prohibits the government from doing —that is, to abridge free speech rights.  

The “Twitter Files” and Roth’s own declaration make it abundantly clear that the FBI colluded with the platform to suppress speech.  Meetings were held and encrypted communications were used. “constant and pervasive.” At least nine ex-FBI agents were involved in Twitter. They even had their very own secret messaging system.   

The FBI’s sustained censorship campaign primed Twitter to eliminate the laptop story.  The FBI knew from clandestine spying that the laptop scandal would eventually fall before the election.  FBI had The laptop was taken In December 2019, they were alarmed at its incendiary criminal wrongdoing contents.  

Agents were also aware that copies of the documents were being distributed.  Bureau agents were warned by Roth and others that there would be a copy. “hack-and-leak operation” involving Hunter Biden.  Twitter was ordered to destroy the tweet after publication and stop its spread. This is exactly what Twitter did.  

The mainstream media accepted the refusal to report on the laptop and many others did the same. Fivety-one ex-intelligence officials from the United States wrote a false letter claiming that it had “all the earmarks” of Russian disinformation.  In reality, these intel officials were selling disinformation to Biden to get elected.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) noted that Twitter was being used during the six hour hearing. “got played by the FBI.” They did. But they did so deliberately.  Rep. Pete Sessions (R.Texas), observed that “Twitter got caught and Twitter got bought.”  He’s right.  Documents proving the truth of the matter show that $3.5 million was spent by the IRS to pay for the FBI to process the documents. “moderation” requests.  

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., deserves credit for fairness.  The new speaker allowed Democrats to choose their colleagues on the Oversight Committee, unlike the Jan 6th committee that was dominated by partisans who were selected by Nancy Pelosi, his predecessor.  In fact, they were permitted to question the evidence and call witnesses.  

That’s the laughable part. Dems presented a former Twitter executive that openly admitted she had nothing to do with the laptop censorship.  She instead reacted against the January 6th events. The distraction caused a severe disconnect.  

This was the way most Democrats chose to go. They used up their time by reviving the violence from January 6th and railing about their great boogeyman Trump. They mocked the hearing and called it unimportant. Despite all the evidence presented, some Dems claimed there was not enough evidence. Raskin demanded more censorship and not less. Wow. Democrats used to be civil liberty advocates. But not anymore.   

The award for cluelessness was earned —predictably— by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-CortezD-N.Y., who launched into an unintelligible rant, her arms flailing like windmills, and her hands were full of frustration.  Someone could have been seriously injured. She called the laptop “disinformation” And a “half-fake” story. Really? Which half? Rep. Melanie Stansbury, D-N.M., came in a close second by calling the FBI’s obvious collusion with Twitter “a conspiracy theory.”  Ah…yes.

Nothing is impossible “silly” —the word one Democrat used— about congress investigating government corruption involving the president’s family and maybe the president himself. James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, was the committee chair. He explained that the laptop contains evidence. Joe Biden’s son reaped millions of dollars from America’s adversaries.  Emails, witness statements and other records show that the father was complicit in the crimes. “the Biden family influence peddling.” Comer concluded “National security may be compromised.”  

Whether America’s security is in jeopardy is certainly worth investigating.
