Legacy media are the true conspiracy theorists when it comes to U.S. elections
Media’s False Narrative: Republican Voters Under Attack
Every week, America’s morally bankrupt media outlets peddle lies about the state of the country’s elections. Their latest assault on Republican voters is no exception.
On Wednesday, Stateline joined its fellow leftist “news” organizations in spreading a Democrat-manufactured conspiracy theory. They claim that U.S. election workers are facing constant harassment from constituents. The insinuation is that conservative voters, who dared to question the conduct of the 2020 election, are responsible for these threats.
At the heart of Stateline’s attack piece is the recent wave of letters containing dangerous substances sent to local election offices in states like Washington, Nevada, and Oregon. Instead of revealing the evidence suggesting that these letters may have been sent by far-left radicals tied to Antifa, Stateline quickly shifted the focus to promote the left’s narrative of “election workers under attack” and blamed former President Donald Trump and his supporters.
“Since the 2020 presidential election, state and local election officials nationwide have been bombarded with threats, as lies perpetuated by former President Donald Trump and his allies around ‘rigged’ elections have fueled conspiracy theories and inspired violent reactions to the bureaucrats and temporary workers who run the United States’ democratic process,” the outlet exaggerated.
As I previously explained in these pages, Democrat claims of an increase in threats against election workers since the 2020 election are primarily based on biased surveys conducted by leftist organizations and unsubstantiated statements from Democrat election officials. For instance, in November 2022, The Washington Post published an article that included claims from Colorado Democrat Secretary of State Jena Griswold’s office, stating that they had “identified hundreds more threats against her since 2020.” Notably, the Post made no effort to fact-check these assertions.
However, like the Post, Stateline was compelled to include data from President Biden’s own Department of Justice, which disproves the Democrats’ exaggerated narrative about threats to election workers.
In their article, Stateline revealed that “As of late August, the U.S. Justice Department’s Election Threats Task Force had charged 14 people with making threats to election workers and political candidates since the task force was created in 2021, resulting in nine convictions with significant criminal sentences.” Testimony from a DOJ official in August 2022 and a subsequent agency press release further exposed that out of approximately 1,000 communications deemed “threatening and harassing” by the Election Threats Task Force, only about 11 percent warranted a federal criminal investigation.
So, in a country with a population of over 335 million people, only around 100 individuals have been investigated by the DOJ for allegedly threatening election workers, and only 14 of them have faced official charges. This hardly constitutes a widespread crisis.
The corporate press, which loves to dismiss legitimate Republican concerns about the integrity of U.S. elections as “conspiracy theories,” is more than willing to promote their own baseless conspiracy theories to smear their political opponents. In reality, Democrats have no genuine concern for the “security” of American elections. Their sole focus is acquiring and retaining power.
The media’s widespread campaign to portray Republicans as threats to “democracy” serves not only to scare away independent and moderate voters from the GOP but also to discourage conservatives from engaging in legitimate forms of election oversight, such as poll watching.
From elections to lawfare, Democrats have no interest in playing by the same rules as everyone else. If that means enlisting their media allies to spread debunked propaganda about Republicans, they will gladly do so.

How does the Justice Department’s Antifa Threat Research Center contradict the narrative of Republican voter attacks on election officials?
Tps://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-department-antifa-related-threat-research-center-assists-coordinated-law”>confirmed that the majority of threats and acts of violence against election workers were linked to Antifa and other left-wing extremist groups, not conservative voters or Trump supporters. This information directly contradicts Stateline’s narrative of Republican voters attacking election officials.
It is concerning that media outlets like Stateline continue to perpetuate false narratives that demonize Republican voters and falsely paint them as threats to democracy. This kind of biased reporting not only undermines the trust in our democratic process but also further divides an already politically polarized nation.
It is vital for Americans to critically examine the narratives presented by the media and question their motives and sources. The constant demonization of one political party or its supporters creates a toxic environment that hinders meaningful dialogue and constructive debate.
Instead, media outlets should strive for impartiality and fairness in their reporting. They have a responsibility to provide accurate information and uphold journalistic integrity. By spreading false narratives and promoting unverified claims, they not only discredit themselves but also contribute to the erosion of public trust in the media.
Furthermore, it is essential for citizens to engage in respectful and informed political discourse. The demonization of any group only serves to further polarize society and perpetuate division. Respectful dialogue and constructive debate are crucial for a healthy democracy, as they allow for the exchange of ideas and the identification of common ground.
Ultimately, the media’s false narrative of Republican voters under attack is yet another example of their agenda-driven reporting. Americans must remain vigilant and seek out reliable and unbiased sources of information. It is through critical thinking and informed decision-making that we can counteract the divisive narratives and work toward a more united and inclusive society.
