The Story About the Two Murdered GOP NJ Councilmen Ha Already Largely Disappeared
It is being said that it is just a coincidence and that there are no political motives for the murders. It could be true. There is no reason to believe otherwise.
It is strange that two Republican councilmen from New Jersey were killed in one week. Both had been elected in 2020.
Eunice Dwumfour was the first victim to be murdered. Russell Heller, Milford Borough councilman, was the second victim. His killer was likely to be the same employer as his first murder. Nobody knows. “boo” There is no information available about the events and it isn’t clear whether the killer or the councilman knew each others.
I found very few stories on the killings. None of them had an apparent motive. Although each murder was identified by the police as a targeted killing the motives behind them are not known.
It’s been two and a half weeks since the first murder, and just one week since the second. The stories were briefly covered by the national media, but then they disappeared. The 911 call for the first received a brief update. However, the initial flurry was quickly canceled.
Everybody has chalked it up to coincidence and…that’s it.
Maybe. It is possible.
One thing is certain: If these were two Democrats, we’d be hearing endless talks about insurrections political violence and gun control.
The story was retold by two Republicans.
So far my cynicism meter is pegged–how could it not be, given the constant lectures we endure any time a Democrat gets a hangnail or somebody mistakes a garage pull for a noose–but my conspiracy theory tin foil hat has yet to warm up from CIA directed microwaves. In a country of over 330 million people, strange coincidences can happen.
But I can’t help but feel that the story is too bizarre to ignore. It is strange that they don’t know the motives behind the killings, but they believe that it was not political. It’s not a thing.
They don’t even know the reason for the murders. How can they possibly be certain that it was not political? It simply can’t.
“The investigation has revealed that the shooting of Mr. Heller was not politically connected with his elected office or political affiliation,” Frank Roman, spokesperson for prosecutor’s office, said:
Roman stated that Heller’s killing is unrelated to the death of another New Jersey Council member.
Officials from Middlesex County said that Eunice Dwumfour, a Sayreville councilwoman, was also shot and killed last week.
It is a “dreadful coincidence” Milford Borough mayor said that two public employees were killed in a recent shooting.
“The common bond is that both of these council members love their town and were dedicated to doing good,” Mayor Henry Schepens stated. “It’s not for the money, because there is no money. But you want your town to be the best it can be, and you donate your time.”
Maybe they know more than what they say. That’s not uncommon. But why aren’t they being asked by the media? If these were Democrats, it is possible to be certain that there would be pressure. You could be sure that the White House would have released a statement, at least one, by now blaming MAGA extremists.
Even if there was an ulterior motive, it would not be political rhetoric on the part of politicians. No one has incited violence. I don’t think Joe Biden or Maxine Wassers were inciting violence, however vile they might be.
However, I blame the media for not following-up. We have the right to know.
Because coincidences are too remarkable to ignore.
