Daily Wire hosts call for Biden’s impeachment, citing Mayorkas’ actions

Michael Knowles, another host on The Daily Wire, pointed out that the last Cabinet member to be impeached was William Belknap, the secretary of war, way back in 1876. Amidst banter with Ben Shapiro and the other hosts, Knowles predicted that Democrats would argue against the impeachment, claiming it lacked a solid basis.
According to Knowles, their argument is that Republicans are impeaching Mayorkas on grounds of maladministration, which they believe is not sufficient cause for impeachment.
The two articles of impeachment passed by the House accuse Mayorkas of willfully and systemically refusing to comply with federal immigration laws, as well as breaching the public trust with false statements and obstructing lawful oversight of the Department of Homeland Security.
