“Given the regular occurrences of ‘suicides’ and ‘death by natural causes’ among Putin’s opponents, it’s no surprise that everyone suspects Putin’s involvement in Navalny’s demise,” Shapiro asserted. “The Putin regime likely felt threatened by Navalny, whether from external forces or within Russia itself, and saw this as a convenient time to eliminate him.”
In a 2020 interview on 60 Minutes, Navalny discussed his poisoning during a flight from Moscow to Siberia, where he had been campaigning against Putin’s party in a local election. He collapsed, knowing he was dying but without experiencing any pain.

The list of people he has killed, from journalists to fellow oligarchs to dissidents challenging him both domestically and internationally, is extensive.”
