Tim Graham: Cartooning The New York Times as “Anti-Trans”

You can have a heart-pounding laugh by checking out the radical-left activists, who accuse The New York Times’ right-wing bias. GLAAD, also known as the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Debate (GLAAD), sent a truck to Times Square claiming that the Times was biased. “prioritizes anti-LGBTQ voices over the voices of transgender people and medical experts.”

The message was also on the truck “Dear New York Times: Stop questioning trans people’s right to exist and access to medical care.” This critique is called nuts.

Anybody who believes this paper favoritizes or boosts the religious right should take a Breathalyzer test. They are just angry that any debate is allowed. “undermined support for trans youth.” The New York Times suddenly becomes the most democratic newspaper by allowing only a small amount of democracy to be published in its pages. “enemy of the people”!

GLAAD coordinated the efforts of more than 370 Times contributors to write a letter complaining about Times articles, and kookily lamenting that the paper would not be published again. “follow the lead of far-right hate groups in presenting gender diversity as a new controversy warranting new, punitive legislation.”

They cited Katie J.M.’s Jan. 23 front-page article. Baker headlined “Parents and Schools Clash on Gender Identity.” The contributors were furious “misframed the battle over children’s right to safely transition.”

The reality that the article presented is what these radicals resent. There are parents — some of them liberals — filing lawsuits and forcing debates about their right to be notified about what’s going on at school. However, these media critics claim that children’s right are absolute and that parents have no rights. “punitive” “hate group” A concept that shouldn’t exist “platformed.”

“The piece fails to make clear that court cases brought by parents who want schools to out their trans children (to their parents!) are part of a legal strategy pursued by anti-trans hate groups,” Contributors claimed. “These groups have identified trans people as an ‘existential threat to society’ and seek to replace the American public education system with Christian homeschooling, key context Baker did not provide to Times readers.”

Radical leftists are those who have obliterated the context. It is not acceptable to advocate school choice for religious families. “replacing” The public school system. The following link will take you to the “existential threat” This reveals that Alliance Defending Freedom wrote it “confusing a generation about biological reality is an existential threat to society.”

The Baker article was a poke at the ADF-aligned Child and Parental Rights Campaign. “Its president has spoken at conferences about the ‘existential threat to our culture’ posed by the ‘transgender movement.'”

Contributors also complained about the “a” writer Tom Scocca called. “laboriously even-handed story” Emily Bazelon from The New York Times Magazine. Bazelon is not a right-wing instrument. They were angry she mentioned a “Patient Zero” These are known as puberty-blockers “vilifies transness as a disease to be feared.”

However, right-wingers were usually demonized. Bazelon wrote about therapists “were deeply troubled when right-wing politicians grasped the unsettled nature of these matters — which barely registered for most Americans 10 years ago — and turned them into political dynamite.”

Bazelon was a snarling wolf “bans” Transgender “care” For children living in red states “fueled by anti-trans vitriol.” Tucker Carlson’s two words were the only conservative quote in this 11,000 word piece. “chemical castration.”

These letters prove that leftist media outlets are unable to avoid criticism from their left. “deplatforming” You are right. These censorious radicals declare openly the right. “news” media must “frame” Outside the picture, conservatives.
