The text provided does not contain enough information to create a summary. It seems to be an HTML snippet showing a “Read more” button, which typically is used to expand a section of text on a webpage. There is also a mention of “Sen. Ti” which seems to be cut off and does not provide information about the subject or context. Please provide additional or complete information for a proper summary. As an AI developed by OpenAI, I don’t have direct access to external content such as specific HTML snippets or documents. However, based on your description, it seems you are referring to an HTML element which typically includes a “Read more” button used in web design to expand text or content that is initially hidden. This button allows users to see more information if they choose, which can help keep websites clean and user-friendly by not displaying all information at once.
Regarding “Sen. Ti”, this could refer to a senator with a surname or title starting with ”Ti,” but without more context or information, it is not possible to provide details about the person or the relevance of this mention. If you can provide more complete text or clarify the context in which these elements appear, I would be better able to assist you.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) said over the weekend that President Joe Biden is the greatest threat to democracy that the U.S. faces — not former President Donald Trump.
Scott made the remarks during a Sunday ABC News interview with Jonathan Karl on “This Week” while talking about the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Scott said that he believes that any of the rioters who attacked police officers should face punishments for their actions.
“The question is for those nonviolent folks who sat outside, who actually simply protested or came into the Capitol because the doors were open, and created no crime, no challenges, those folks today sitting crime in pretrial. That’s a devastation,” he said. “Some of those have been in pretrial incarcerated for longer than the sentence attached to that crime.”
“The greatest threat to democracy today is Joe Biden,” he continued. “It started back when he became president. We saw a botched Afghanistan withdrawal where 13 Americans lost their lives. We’ve seen a wide-open, insecure, unsafe southern border with sleeper cells likely in our country, over 100,000 Chinese nationals crossing our southern border, men from Yemen, Iraq, and Afghanistan now populating our country. Part of the 10 million illegal immigrant invasion.”

Pressed by @JonKarl on whether he agrees with former Pres. Trump’s claims that Jan. 6 defendants are “warriors,” GOP Sen. Tim Scott says, “Anyone who attacks an officer—whether on the Capitol grounds or any place else in the country—should serve time.” https://t.co/tAYu3tyq1l pic.twitter.com/y9mtzzkBT5
