Tim Sheehy challenges Jon Tester for Senate seat.
Bridger Aerospace CEO Tim Sheehy Announces Run for Montana Senate Seat
Bridger Aerospace CEO and former Navy Seal, Tim Sheehy, has made an exciting announcement – he is running for Montana’s Senate seat currently held by Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT). Sheehy, known for his impressive background as a Navy Seal and his success in creating an aerial firefighting company in Montana, released a captivating campaign video on Tuesday.
“I’m Tim Sheehy. Whether it was war or business, I see problems and solve them. America needs conservative leaders who love our country, and that’s why I’m running for the United State Senate,” Sheehy passionately expressed in his launch video.
“I want to create a better future for my kids and your children and grandchildren. Our campaign is about service, God, and country, not politics as usual,” he added, emphasizing his dedication to making a positive impact.
Sheehy’s entrance into the Montana Senate race has been met with enthusiasm from National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Steve Daines (R-MT). Daines expressed his delight, stating, “Tim Sheehy is a decorated veteran, successful businessman, and a great Montanan. I could not be happier that he has decided to enter the Montana Senate race.”
Sen. Jon Tester, who has served in the Senate since 2007, announced his reelection campaign in February. Sheehy is Tester’s first declared GOP opponent for 2024. The upcoming Senate race in Montana is considered crucial for the Republicans if they aim to gain control in the upper chamber of Congress. Notably, there are three Senate races in 2024 where a Democratic incumbent is running in a state that voted for the GOP in the 2020 presidential election.
