Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro Slams President Biden for Abandoning Duty at Southern Border
In a scathing critique, Ben Shapiro, the former editor of the Daily Wire, lambasted President Joe Biden for neglecting his responsibilities at the southern border. Shapiro called on Americans to “stand with Texas” as Governor Greg Abbott battles the administration over the border crisis.
Abbott recently issued a fiery statement asserting Texas’ “constitutional right to self-defense” in response to the Biden administration’s refusal to enforce federal immigration laws. Notably, Abbott announced plans to add razor wire to the Texas/Mexico border, despite the potential for Biden’s U.S. Border Patrol agents to cut it down.
Joe Biden has abandoned his duty as president. He has singlehandedly caused this massive crisis on our border by refusing to enforce the laws on the books, all for political gain. He has created an unprecedented wave of illegal migration — 6 million people coming into the… https://t.co/Y4GaXzPhrt

Shapiro emphasized that President Biden has the power to significantly slow the border crisis on his own. He criticized the executive branch for avoiding the enforcement of existing laws and instead using the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as a “bussing and administrative service” for mass illegal immigration.
Correct. The law enforcement authority is already on the books. In fact, it is absolutely disgusting that the executive branch has decided to simply avoid enforcing the law — and has instead mobilized CBP to act as a bussing and administrative service for mass illegal… https://t.co/o57YQQVGwz

The crisis at the border and the influx of migrants into the United States has become a pressing issue for Americans nationwide. Governor Abbott took matters into his own hands by signing three bills into law to address the border crisis in Texas. However, the federal government plans to sue, arguing that immigration is a federal matter.
Shapiro personally investigated the border crisis and released a video documenting his findings as part of a new series called “The Divided States Of Biden.” The video exposes the consequences of what Shapiro calls the “most destructive immigration policy in history.”
I went to our southern border. It’s wide open. The drug cartels are in control. Here’s what we saw.

In a recent Supreme Court ruling, an injunction against U.S. Border Patrol agents cutting through the razor wire placed by Governor Abbott was lifted. Abbott’s decision to continue administering the wire prompted accusations from Democrats that he was defying the Supreme Court. Shapiro clarified that the ruling only prevented the federal government from cutting the wire and did not deem Texas’ actions illegal.
No he is not. The Supreme Court ruled that the federal government could not be enjoined from cutting the razor wire, not that Texas had done something illegal in erecting the razor wire. As always, Beto has no idea what he’s talking about. https://t.co/UreTyqGv4G
