SNL had Tom Hanks play a racist Trump supporter who wouldn’t shake a Black man’s hand. This propaganda is dumb and isn’t funny.

“If more folks went to church, we wouldn’t be in this mess we are in now,” he said.
Thompson agreed and went over to Hanks.
“I agree with you, Doug. I’d like to shake your hand, sir,” Thompson said as he reached out for a handshake. Hanks pulled back as if to refuse to shake hands and then relented.
“You are welcome on Black Jeopardy anytime,” Thompson said after shaking his hand.
“Maybe I’ll start a show for you to come on, and we’ll call it ‘White Jeopardy,’” Hanks remarked.
“We don’t need it,” Thompson retorted.
The skit outraged several Trump supporters for pushing racist stereotypes of Republicans.

“Tom Hanks always wants to pretend he’s the likable everyman but he’s as hate mongering of regular Americans as any host on MSNBC,” Meghan McCain said on X, adding, “Good luck becoming less and less culturally relevant by the second bro.”
“This isn’t only tiresome, it’s not remotely funny,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha said. “And Trump won more of the Black vote than any Republican in 50 years … “
“Fun fact: Trump’s 2024 election win was the LEAST racially divisive American election since 1964,” radio host Clay Travis responded.
“Donald Trump just won a landslide election and has never been more popular with Americans. They have learned nothing,” another commentator said on X.
