Top 10 Health Supplements
Best Longevity and Wellness Boosters
What is wellness? We say it’s about feeling good and performing optimally while living longer and stronger. These are some of the best supplements.
The Best Health Supplements to Feel Good and Live Long
There are many great supplements to build muscle. But what about other things like general health, and wellbeing? There are thousands available, so let’s narrow down the list and focus on the most important ones for longevity and feeling good.
1. Certain Chelated minerals
If you’re an athlete, you sweat and thus you’re likely deficient in zinc, which, along with selenium, maintains high testosterone Niveaux and the immune system. If you’re a plain old human, you’re also likely deficient in magnesium, and magnesium alone is responsible for over 300 biochemical reactions in the human body, ranging from muscle and nerve function to protein synthesis.
Certain minerals, such as vanadium and chromium, help to maintain insulin and blood sugar levels. These minerals are usually in limited supply so athletes should take them in chelated form. Our ahref=”https://biotest.t-nation.com/collections/wellness-immunity/products/elitepro-minerals”>Elitepro™ Minerals Formula is the best source.
2. The Right Kind Of Vitamin D3
If you’re able to spend between 15 and 30 minutes in the sun, pretty much naked, every day, without getting skin cancer or looking like an old catcher’s mitt, skip the vitamin D3 supplements. You can still take 1000 to 5000 IU daily to improve your cognitive function, immune system, and bone health. This will help you to reduce the chances of getting cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
Ideal is to use microencapsulated Vitamin D3. This form of vitamin can be made by encapsulating vitamin D3 molecular in liposomes and solid lipid nanoparticles. This forms the vitamin as tiny particles. “beadlets” It is protected against moisture, oxidation and temperature as well as pH, temperature and mechanical forces. It’s stable, water dispersible, and highly bioavailable.
Microencapsulated vitamin D3 is superior to other vitamin D3 supplements because its effects last up to 2 weeks. Our ahref=”https://biotest.t-nation.com/collections/wellness-immunity/products/i-well”>i-Well™ Formula Microencapsulated Vitamin D3 provides 5000 IU
3. CoenzymeQ10
CoQ10 18 is what’s known as a pseudovitamin in that it’s essential for life, but it’s not essential to life that you supplement with it. To reduce plaque buildup and feed the mitochondria, you can take 90 to 200mg. of CoQ10 18 daily with your meals. Life Extension offers a variety of services, including a Good one.
4. Resveratrol
It is a powerful estrogen antagonist and aromatase inhibiter, and can help us avoid insulin resistance and heart diseases. You should take 600 mg. daily. Rez-V™ It is the best option.
5. Cyandin 3-Glucoside
This substance regulates the chemical master switch called AMPK (adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase). This master switch is key to determining your body’s fat and life expectancy. Before meals, take 2400-3600 mg. Indigo-3G® The most potent.
6. Omega-3 Fatty Acids
We live in an omega-6 world and it’s killing us. Nature intended us to have a ratio of omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids in our bodies. But, because of our fast food, snack-food and meal-in-a box lifestyles, this ratio has risen to 20 to 1.
Inflammation is thus running rampant through our bodies and the best way to stop it is to cut down on the omega-6’s and to start swallowing those beautiful amber fish oil gelcaps. You can take up to 12,000 mgs of a combination DHA/EPA formula such as the one shown a href=”https://store.t-nation.com/collections/wellness-immunity/products/flameout”>Flameout® Every day.
7. Conjugated Linoleic Acid
CLA, a fatty acid found high in grass-fed beef, is known as a fatty. Since most of us don’t get much grass-fed beef, we’re likely deficient in this important fatty acid.
Numerous studies have proven it to be an effective cancer fighter. It also plays a role in maintaining blood pressure and fighting heart disease. Consume approximately 1,000 mg. per day. Products like “a href=”https://store.t-nation.com/collections/wellness-immunity/products/flameout”>Flameout® CLA products that are made with the two CLA isomers are the best.
8. Micellar Curcumin
Curcumin This is one of those supplement that can seem too good to be true. It does everything. It can improve cardiovascular health, decrease body fat, ease pain, and lower estrogen levels, among others.
Problem is, standard curcumin isn’t very bioavailable, even with piperine added. Science has now solved this problem.
Micellar Curcumin™ Contains solid lipid curcumin particles which produce 95 times more free Curcumin in bloodstreams than standard curcumin with piperine. (Gota VS et. al., 2010). If you really want to absorb the ingredients, a micellar formula is the best choice.
9. Superfood – 18 Health Foods in One
This product is the thinking man’s alternative to multivitamins. It only contains 18 nutrients-dense vegetables and fruits that have been dried, pulverized and kept in a sealed pouch. As such, Superfood contains all the nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals intrinsic to the fruits and vegetables it’s made from. You can take one scoop every day.
10. P-Well… for your P and Your Other P
You already care about sexual health and, sooner or later, you’ll start thinking about prostate health (and the two are often related). Therefore, it makes sense to use a supplement like “a href=”https://store.t-nation.com/products/p-well”>P-Well™ That supports both.

@TC_Luoma Is Superfood high in resveratrol or low? Can resveratrol pose a threat to those with estrogen-positive breasts cancer? I’ve heard that soy products could be a threat for such people (although, I’m not even sure how well this has been studied) and knowing both soy and resveratrol have been classified as phytoestrogens, I thought the same potential threat could be present for both.
It likely doesn’t contain enough of any particular polyphenol or carotenoid to have a specific medical effect. That’s not the point of Superfood. Rather, it’s meant to offer a whole spectrum of phytochemicals and nutrients, just as if you’d get if you were eating a wide variety of off-the-shelf fruits and vegetables. And while the blueberries contained in Superfood no doubt have a few milligrams of resveratrol, again, I can’t imagine that it would pose any danger. You probably wouldn’t worry about just eating a few blueberries, right?
Sorry, I was so focused on answering the question that I forgot to ask you how you were doing. Is everything going well? Do you feel well both mentally and physically
This may not be something you enjoy asking, but I was curious if you could pick just three supplements to make your list.
