Tornadoes Hit Texas, Louisiana, Storm Warnings Issued for Parts of Southwest US
On Thursday, tornadoes struck Texas and Louisiana. This caused widespread power outages and cancelled hundreds of flights to and from the Dallas area.
These weather conditions are part a powerful storm system which brought about the severe weather conditions. California gets heavy snow earlier. It arrived in Texas and the surrounding states late on Thursday with damaging winds of over 70 mph (112 km/h).
