Trans Activist Drinks Beers in Bathtub in Bud Light’s Latest Ad Campaign
Bud Light has partnered with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer who is popular on TikTok and other social media platforms. The beer company has designed beer cans with Mulvaney’s likeness, making her the latest spokesperson for the brand.
Mulvaney announced the partnership on Sunday, after wrapping up “365 Days of Girlhood,” a milestone she celebrated recently. Fox News reported that in a video, Mulvaney was seen sitting in a bathtub, drinking a Bud Light, and enjoying the moment.
“Happy March Madness!!” Mulvaney wrote on Instagram. “In celebration of this sports thing @budlight is giving you the chance to win $15,000! Share a video with #EasyCarryContest for a chance to win!! Good luck! #budlightpartner.”
Bud Light is one of the brands owned by Anheuser-Busch, the massive conglomerate that also owns brands such as Budweiser, Stella Artois, and Michelob.
Some conservative pundits, such as Ben Shapiro, criticized the partnership. However, it did not impact the deal, which appears to be going forward.
In the past, Mulvaney has met with President Joe Biden to discuss transgender issues. However, the influencer also attracted controversy for endorsing Tampax products.
