Trans Activist Faces Backlash Over Illegal Network to Supply Cross-Sex Hormones to Minors
Female-identifying transgender activist Eli Erlick is getting backlash on social media for touting a distribution network to supply gender transition drugs to minors.
“There are over 20 states trying to criminalize hormone therapy, particularly for trans youth,” Erlick posted Aug. 5 on a now-private Instagram account, according to a report from the Daily Wire. “So, my friends and I have an idea: sending out our extra prescriptions around the country. If you need hormones, I’m working with a distribution network to get you access. Everything is free, no questions asked.”
The popular Twitter page Libs of Tik Tok posted a screenshot of Erlick’s post.
“We have hundreds of doses of testosterone, estradiol, and spironolactone available right now,” wrote Erlick, a PhD candidate at the University of California Santa Cruz. “All are all prescribed by doctors and unused.”
“I’ve uncovered more evidence of @elierlick’s drug trafficking scheme,” Libs of Tik Tok reported. “It appears it’s been going on since at least September, 2021.”
Libs of Tik Tok also posted a screenshot of Erlick replying to someone who asked, “hey what country is this for?”
“Realistically, I can ship anywhere in North America,” Erlick replied.
In September 2021, Erlick posted that one of the mantras that she has learned about gender transitioning is: “Redistribute your extra hormones to people who can’t access/afford them.”
