Due to alleged disparities in what reportedly occurred, families have accused the school district of withholding info from them.
In a letter to parents on Thursday, the school district stated that the investigation by the Hernando County Sheriff’s’s Office had turned up information that” appear to conflict with information gathered at the time of the incident” and that was” not previously known by that district.”
The email stated that the school district would continue its investigation into the incident in light of this new information and would need other involvement from mental health professionals. ” We did carefully examine all the things that were taken that day and in the days that followed the incident as part of our investigation to see if any steps were missed.”
The school district stated that the findings of the ongoing investigation might prompt” consideration of other safeguards.”
At the school board meeting last week, a few parents expressed the opinion that the speaker was being targeted because they were trans, but” the majority of parents” disagreed, according to the national media.
One dad remarked,” It makes no difference if they’re’re gray, black, purple, green, or a rhinos.” ” I’m’m happy she’s’s a fantastic teacher. She issued a warning.
Another family retorted,” Anyone who makes a remark like that shouldn’t be working in scholastics.” Charges may be filed if a school said that. The youngster may be kicked out.
