Treasury Department Hands Over Biden’s Suspicious Activity Reports to House GOP

Bank documents could expose more of the family’s corrupt business dealings

House Republicans can now access suspicious activity reports filed against President Joe Biden by banks against Hunter, House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R. Ky.), announced Tuesday.

“After two months of dragging their feet, the Treasury Department is finally providing us with access to the suspicious activity reports for the Biden family and their associates’ business transactions,” Comer stated this in a statement.

These bank documents could expose more of the corrupt business dealings of the Biden family. Comer said one financial document, which the committee has already obtained, shows a Chinese company paying a Biden-linked firm $3 million just two months after Biden left the vice presidency. The firm later paid large sums to the Biden family, according to the report. Washington Examiner reported.

Monday’s Oversight Committee subpoenaed Bank of America to obtain documents regarding financial records of Hunter Biden associates dating back to January 20, 2009.

“The Oversight Committee has subpoenaed and obtained financial records related to the Biden family’s influence-peddling,” The spokesperson for Oversight Committee Submitted Fox News Digital. “These documents solidify our understanding of several areas of concern and have opened new avenues of investigation about the Biden family’s business schemes.”

The Treasury documents will be made available to the committee staff for review in private.
