Trump hires Georgia lawyer for defense team before surrender.

Former President Donald‍ Trump Adds Veteran Criminal Defense Lawyer to Legal‌ Team

Former President Donald Trump has enlisted the expertise of veteran criminal defense lawyer Steve‍ Sadow as he prepares to face‌ charges in a Racketeer ‌Influenced and Corrupt ‍Organizations Act case. Trump’s Defense Attorney Speaks Out

“I have been retained to represent President Trump in the Fulton County, Georgia case,”⁢ Sadow stated in a release to ABC News. “The President should never have been indicted. ‍He is innocent ⁢of all the charges ‌brought against him. We look forward to the case being dismissed or, if necessary, an unbiased, open-minded jury finding ⁢the President not guilty. Prosecutions intended to advance ‍or serve the ambitions and careers of political opponents of the President have no place in our justice ‌system.”

Sadow’s impressive track⁤ record includes successfully defending notable⁤ figures such as Rick Ross, Howard Stern,⁤ T.I.,⁢ Ray⁣ Lewis, Usher, and Ty Dolla ⁢Sign.

Trump’s Surrender and Bold Statement

Earlier this week, Trump announced his intention to surrender at ⁢the Fulton County Jail in Georgia, where his bond has been set at $200,000. He will join several co-defendants, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, ⁣in having his mug shot⁢ taken. Trump proudly claims that his arrest is a result ‌of his‍ fight for election integrity.

“NOBODY HAS EVER FOUGHT ⁢FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP,” he boldly declared‍ on Truth Social. “FOR DOING ⁣SO, I WILL PROUDLY BE ARRESTED⁤ TOMORROW AFTERNOON IN GEORGIA. GOD‌ BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!”

Trump ⁤was indicted by a‌ grand jury ‍in Georgia last week, along with eighteen others, in a sweeping RICO case led by‍ Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. The charges stem from ‍efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in⁣ Georgia. Despite ⁤the indictment, Trump maintains his innocence and⁤ continues ‍to assert ‍that the election was “rigged.”

This⁤ marks ⁤the fourth indictment for the former president.
