Trump and Biden​ Compete for Teamsters Union Endorsement

Former President Donald Trump and President Joe‌ Biden ‌are vying for the coveted endorsement of the⁣ Teamsters union ahead of the 2024 election. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters has ‌announced that both candidates will have the opportunity to meet with the ⁢union in separate roundtable discussions.

O’Brien has ​already met with several other candidates during the 2024 cycle, including ​Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, Marianne Williamson, ⁣Cornel West, and Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN). Republican⁢ candidate Nikki Haley ‌has‍ also received an invitation from the ‌Teamsters.

Haley’s campaign did not provide comment to the Washington Examiner.

The Teamsters have not yet endorsed any candidate for the 2024 presidential election. However, Biden recently received the ‍endorsement of United‍ Auto ⁣Workers President Shawn Fain.
